I don’t know how you got here, but you’re welcome to it.
This is a site that started as a platform for my fiction writing. Then, as I realized that a lot of publications view stuff like this as a prior publication, it started to become a full-on blog. I never acknowledged it as a blog, since I still kinda associate “blog” with “xanga,” but it is.
Now, I’m revamping it. Yes, it’s a new birth. A Phoenixing, if you will. I’m laying the groundwork for some – hopefully – really cool stuff, and it’d be a good idea to have a site that looks like it’s home to some really cool stuff.
In terms of who I am, I just relocated to Portland, Oregon. It reminds me a lot of Canterbury in England, where I earned my Master’s in Creative Writing – and worked at a literary agency, shot a film, and acted, among other things – so yeah. It’s pretty cool. Before that, I was in Nashville, Tennessee. I earned my Bachelor’s degree at the University of Tennessee, Knoxville.
I aim for 1,000 words of fiction a day. Or a piece of flash fiction. It depends on what my muse – an unreliable jerk, I’m figuring out – throws into my head.
